Our lesson program is built around individual needs of our riders. Being unique in the way that we have a line up of gaited horses who we teach with.
Our lessons are private with one on one instruction with professional riding instructors. We offer lessons for the new rider, experienced rider, younger rider or older riders. Being that the lesson is private we work directly with your own needs and wants for your lesson. We are goal orientated and will help push you towards your goal while always keeping safety number one. Lessons vary between a half hour or an hour. We teach a variety of lessons starting with grooming and moving through ground work to riding in the ring to riding on the trails.
Learning to ride the gaited horse is an experience all on its own. The gaited horses have wonderful temperaments and the smoothest gaits. Its all the fun without all the bounce.
If you have your own horse that you would like to bring to your lesson that is always an option too. Ask us for more details on this.
All options and prices listed on the scheduling page. If you and friend or family member have similar goals and riding skill level, we are happy to have you schedule a semi-private lesson. These lessons are nice to learn ring etiquette, learn by watching each other, or getting ready for competition or trails where you’ll be riding with other horses. Please ask your instructor if you think you would like to set up semi-private lessons.
We also offer a group lesson on the weekend for our regular students who are focused on Western Dressage. This group lesson is not able to be scheduled online. Talk to Suzy directly about the schedule.
Day at the Farm/Mini Day Camp:
Day at the Farm is a mini one-day camp. The program is completely focused on the participants signed up for that day. Programs range from fun and games for kids and their friends, to new riders learning horses for the first time, to the future horse owner wanting to learn care and horse ownership ins and outs. We can handle up to four riders. The program runs for three hours and can be booked anytime of year. Book by chatting with one of the instructors at the farm. Price is $85 per rider.
Bring your favorite horse girl or boy to the farm to celebrate their special day! Parties are designed to make the guest of honor feel special with their equine friends partying with them. Have your guests join you with the horses and bring the whole family to take the photos.
Birthday packages offered:
Just the Horses – bring your party over just for the horse part. Have hands on experience with the horses including riding.
Have the party at the farm – Bring the whole party to the farm. Spend enough time here to have the horse experience, open presents and have your cake and ice cream.
Have the party at the farm, Plus pizza party – Ride, eat lunch and have dessert too!

Scouting Programs/Field Trips:
Bring your troop to the farm to earn their Horse Badges. Scout troops learn about riding, care of the horse, some basic vet care, about the tack we use and the careers with horses. This program is amazing and everyone leaves with a smile and a whole new world opened up to them.
We offer groups of people to come learn about the Gaited horses and what we do here at Mystic Meadows through group field trips. Demonstrations and clinic style education is a great way to have your group get a glimpse of what we do here at Mystic Meadows
